Manufactured from high-tensile forged 4340 steel, these rods feature genuine ARP 8740 7/16" rod bolts and are recommended for builds targeting 600+ engine HP.

High-Output Performance
The X-Beam design is intended for builds above our recommended H-Beam range and applications where maximum strength and durability are the priority. Genuine ARP 8740 7/16" rod bolts are included and are larger than the 3/8" hardware commonly used in competing OM606 connecting rods.
For builds targeting up to 600 engine HP, our H-Beam Connecting Rod Set provides a proven alternative and has been successfully used in an OM606 producing 650 WHP on a chassis dyno.
