Finally Ready for Dyno Testing the om617!!!

The dyno car is ready for testing with the stock om617.  I have a lot of irons in the fire which has made it a long road to get to this point.  I was close about a month ago with my AEM CD-7 failed with memory errors.  I was able to get the unit replaced and took the car out for a test pass.  Below you will see a video of the end result.  Try not to get seasick, the GoPro mount wasn't tight so the camera started flopping around.

The purpose of the video was really to learn how to overlay the data.  During testing, I will need to sync the logger data with the dyno graph.  Given that I will be able to see RPM it should make syncing easier.

Soon I would like to add a couple more sensors to the car.

  • Ambient air temperature
  • Throttle position sensor

This is a test video showing AEM data from a CAN22 module on the dyno car. The engine is 100% stock.
